Palm Academy for Learning
The Palm Academy is an alternative learning environment offered by the Coronado Unified School District. The mission of the Palm Academy is as follows:
"It is the mission of Palm Academy to promote the conditions that facilitate quality education and equity for all learners. We provide a broad spectrum of options and opportunities. In choosing these options and opportunities, each learner has an equal chance to be successful. Coronado School of the Arts
The Coronado School of the Arts or COSA as it is known around town is a nationally recognized program focused on providing programs to students wanted advanced classes in music, art, theater and dance.
Coronado New Media Academy
Similar to COSA, the Coronado New Media Academy is a school within a school concept. This program, which serves 9th to 12th graders, offers classes focused on new media such as digital video, 2D and 3D design and state of the art technology.
Coronado Adult Education
The Coronado Adult Education Program is similar to many adult education programs offered by other towns and cities across the country. This program also offers over 300 classes online.

Christ Church Day School - Christ Church Day School is a small episcopal school accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and serves the grades of first grade through sixth grade. The mission statement of the school is as follows:

Sacred Heart Parish School - Sacred Heart is a private catholic school attached to the local catholic church in Coronado.
Graham Memorial Preschool - Graham Memorial is a wonderful preschool offering a top preschool education to many young students in Coronado. Many of the teachers at Graham have been with the school over 10 years and some of the teachers have been at the school for over 20 years. In addition, many of the teachers live in the community and keep in touch with their students even after they graduate high school. Graham is a wonderful example of how preschool can prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.
Montessori School of San Diego at Coronado - The Montessori School also has a strong presence in Coronado offering a strong preschool education for children in Coronado at 2 separate locations.
